Police arrested an inmate who walked away earlier this week from the Northern Nevada Transitional Housing center in Reno, according to the Nevada Department of Corrections.
William “Willie” Vareschi, 43, was arrested Thursday and was being held at the Washoe County Detention Facility.
According to NDOC spokesperson Scott Kelley, Vareschi failed to return to the transitional housing center on Monday.
He was previously convicted of burglary in Clark County and was serving the final part of a four to 10-year sentence.
