| Description: | Currently looking for a Loss Prevention Detective to fill an opening with a company located in Passaic, NJ. Interested candidates should be able to act in a discreet manner. Responsibilities of the Loss Prevention Detective • Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. • Circulate among visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect property. • Operate surveillance equipment to detect suspicious or illegal activities. • Inspect our buildings, equipment, and access points. • Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. Requirements of the Loss Prevention Detective • High school diploma with a continuous record of learning • Proven ability and experience to communicate effectively on the phone. • No experience required. We will provide on the job training. • Ability to act in a discreet manner • Must be comfortable learning and working on different computer systems and programs • Must have accurate data entry skills • Must have strong problem sensitivity which is the ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. • Spanish is a definite plus. • A clean criminal background is a must.
