I need some information and feedback. I am a female CO working at a county jail in NY for 10.5 years. Out of 96 officers only 16 positions are designated GENDER SPECIFIC, female only..The administration has designated this positions 6 dayshift, 5 afternoon and 5 overnight..Due to these designations I, with 10.5 years of service will not get my shift preference due to me being #7 in “female seniority”...
