Inmate charged with shoving sheriff deputy |

A man being escorted from the courthouse to a transport vehicle shoved a sheriff deputy Oct. 12, according to District Attorney Tony Matulewicz. Michael Robert Gilligbauer, 26, was charged with a summary offense of harassment in the office of Sunbury District Judge Michael Toomey. Gilligbauer was in court on an emergency bench warrant related to theft charges. Sheriff deputies were escorting Gilligbauer from the sheriff holding cell to a waiting vehicle. Gilligbauer, who was fully restrained, allegedly became aggressive and abruptly pulled away from Deputy Jeff Brennan and then used his own body weight to shove Deputy Dwayne Pidcoe, according to Matulewicz.
