Linn County inmate turns himself in after failing to return to jail

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG-TV9) -- In a news release, Linn County authorities said Alvin Brooks turned himself over to jail staff, Sunday. That's after he failed to return to the facility the day prior.

Linn County authorities are looking for an inmate who failed to return to the Linn County Jail, Saturday.

Alvin Bernard Brooks was being held on a $10,000 bond for "Revocation Probation," according to a news release from officials.
