Medical Examiner rules death of inmate to have been caused by drug intoxication

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) The Medical Examiner's Office says a combination of drugs was to blame for the death of an inmate at Penobscot County Jail.

37-year-old Jennifer Dyer of Greenbush died last month less than a day after she was brought in for outstanding warrants.

A corrections officer found her unresponsive in her cell.
